using ProStructures Connect Edition Update 5 Version 10.05.01.11
I've place a panel and then created a cut. Place rebar using panel tools.
I positioned everything to get my barmarks.
The numbering jumps from 1505 (bar size and bar mark # is our labelling practice)
to 1506, 1508, 1523, 1533 & 1534. Why does is not automatically label
from 1505 up to and including 1510 instead?
I've attached my file along with my database file.

Hello Nicole,Thanks for posting this query in Bentley Community Forum.
As per my investigation of your working file, I understand that you wanted to sort sequentially the horizontal bars you illustrated above. And, I found out that these bars are belong to a Rebarset. The automatic positioning tool sorts all bars (both vertical and horizontal) according to their Length, Weight, Diameter, Name, or Material. This is why you are not getting your intended bar marks.
You may find this Sorting option in the "Automatic Positioning Settings" dialog.
Therefore I would recommend to use Manual Marking option to mark the bars as per your intention.
If the issue is critical to you, then I would like you to create a Service Request so that we can take proper action.

The manual marking is still at Tech preview
Can i still use to update my database to create a parlist?

Hi Nicole, Yes, you may still use the feature. However, please do note that this feature is in the evaluation stage in Update 5. You might find bugs that might already be fixed in the current version, Update 6.
