Rebar Stock length to be entered into Bar Chart

I'm currently using Rebar V08.11.07.55,

haven't upgraded to Power Rebar as we had issues with Bar Charts mark numbering issues,

not allowing a preceeding number as set in our sys file. So we are waiting for next release.

When placing a one legged bar it will detail all required lengths including non stock lengths,

as have set our Main Bar defaults to auto lap when stock length exceeded.

We want to have our stock lengths show up in our bar charts and not just the total length for this bar.

We don't want to have to spend extra time placing stock lengths individually when the system

details them correctly already.

Is there a sys file setup to get this done? I could not find any.

Regards,

Nicole

  • Drew a 1 legged bar:

The stock length is 60’, the lap is 3’-7” and the last bar is 25’-6”.

    Here is the bar chart:

In the bar chart you need to define D, B, E, C, N and the Nominal length.  For the chart above I had the following:

    COL_DIA                              11.25    15      Centre                        // Diameter

COL_MARK                         22       29      Centre        ~$bn~        // Bar Mark Text generated from the "MTXT" display.sys parameter.

    COL_LNOM                        37.5     46      Centre                          // "Nominal" total length

    COL_TOTAL                        52.5     59       Centre                        // Total number of bars

    COL_SHAPE_CODE          62.75    66.5    Centre                        // Bar Shape Number

    COL_B                                115.5   124.5    Centre

    COL_C                                133.5   142.5     Centre

    COL_D                                151.5   160.5     Centre

    COL_E                                169.5   178.5     Centre

    COL_N                                254.5    260      Centre
