Rebar V8i Overwriting lap length Question

Hi,

I am using Bentley Rebar V8i SS3 and have a question on how to overwrite the lap length of a bar.

We have a spiral bar in a circular pile which is 25m long, so This needs to have laps added into it. On the schedule, the output is an overall length of the bar, which includes the laps calculated for us by rebar as you would expect.

During the Engineering reviewsit was flagged that the spiral bars were too short by several hundred millimeters. We suspect this is due to the standard lap for a 12mm bar being 300mm, but in spiral bars, the standard calls for 50D for the lap, which in this case is 600mm.

So is there a way to overwrite the lap for these bars? i thought about using the 'Standard' or "alternative' Bend radius option to control this, but we need to reserve these for standard bends and the alternative bends for ligs and stirrups etc.

Any help or suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
