I have been a user since 2000

Program was great at the time but has not really improved over the last decade

I will be changing programs as I believe my maintenance fees have been a complete waste of money

No ifc files
Kiss files are a problem
Detail centre is a problem
Nc1 files cannot be processed

The last version for AutoCAD pro steel was released in early 2013.....


I believe the micro station is bent lies future plans for pro structures

The next release of PowerProstructure will have a IFC export and Import, also NC1 files can be produced. Also in Detailing there will be some additions, like improvement of dimensioning of symmetric parts.

Thanks for your input Mr Steel. I have to say I am quite disappointed with ProStructures too and am hoping that the next release will feel a lot more like a modern modelling platform. I wont hold my breath though. (perhaps it will all come right with ProStructures CONNECT when / if that ever happens)

Another gripe I have is the training material online. It is pretty bad and obviously hasn't been updated in a long time.
