Hello
We have big problems when we move on new version of PS 08.11.11.207 from 08.11.11.87.
The laptops and system is brand new. Win 10 and autocad 2017 with SP1. Also AecModeler.dbx file was changed. If we open the model in new system all pipe elbows it looks like donuts.
If we create on this model any new they looks the same. I remeber that in Autocad 2015 was the same problem but service pack from autodesk resolved that.
Do you have idea what we can do right now?? I have very big constructions and much more handrails. Please, help us.
Also export to psb and import again doesn't work.
arcsegment.dwg
Please move the model to 0,0,0. If elements are away from 0 the calculation becomes more inaccurate.

Hello Johannes
Hmm.. I found this solution earlier, but this no resolve my problem. Is no possible move every models to points 0,0,0. The models include more attachment and as you know we must be to adapted to another structures on the plant. So, that explain why we can't use these solution. Please, find another way because, right now I can't finished any project. If we move back model to orginal position, problem still exist.
Dear Mr. Bem,
If you have a Mastermodel with the Stairs referenced in, and those elements being at 0,0 them selves in the origin, the issue will not appear.
The issue is related to diminishing accuracy if you are far from 0, it will be addressed of course. For the moment I would recommend referencing.
No, this no resolve my problem
You see only 1/1000 part from my model. And what, all parts should be move to 0 point????! That's imposible.
How you image what happen if I send model for others companies with wrong reference points. Are you kidding?
Please, send me solution or update for your software!
And as said, it is going to be addressed for the upcoming versions.
This is a recommendation only, your complete Model can also be on 0,0, and than referenced in, but of course it depends on your workflow.
We will contact you directly for further clarification in any case.
The problem stiil existling and not be resolved. I have 15 people working in different projects, what can sholud do??
Maybe Bentley once pay for the delayed steelwork and I told you, I can't move models to point 0. The others companies who working with me, will be very confused when we do that and ofcourse they will want money for that. I know, this is recommendation only, but this not resolve my problem.
It does not mean, in this case that, you deliver the drawing with your model at 0,0. It means you deliver the drawings or models referenced in into a master layout with the correct coordinates given by the reference and deliver this complete layout. This is a quite standard practice for some of our clients for geo referenced models for example which are many kilometers away from 0 for this purpose.
This is a quite common way for this kind of layout creation, but of course this is just a possibility to have a immediate working solution for the issue.
