Gents,
i have been trying to set up a web angle connection database following the example in the following knowledgebase article https://communities.bentley.com/products/prostructures/m/drafting_and_detailing_gallery/269764
using the din.stegdstv table as an example. (I have copied the stegdstv table to the NZ database and modified some of the values)
If I use IPE sections rom the DIN database, the din.stegdstv web angle works ok, but I cannot make it work in the NZ mdb
comparing the DIN & NZ MDB files there are some significant differences between the config tables! I cannot see where in the DIN database the connection table is declared.
The article above mentions a .dbf file but I cannot find this anywhere, nor any ini file of cfg file that declares the stegdstv table
This is now an MDB file. There are hidden fields in the Din MDB. In the NZ Database please look for the config table and
WebAngleData and insert the Tablename like NZ.myWebangledb

Thanks Johannes,
I have done that and have not had any luck. I should note that the moment plates, shear plates, and Purlin shoes are all working correctly. I am only having problems with the web angle
I have included a screenshot of the tables and also the non compliant webangle dialog. can you review, I may have missed something
I note that in in the knowledge-base article it states that in the section size wher ether is an X it should be replaced with an asterisk
i.e. 100x6EA = 100*6EA
I have tried it both ways with same result. I have also tried placing a * is the AUSW1 field, which should allow any section size, but I still get a blank dialog
please Can you zip and attach your MDB here ? Many thanks !
NZ.zip
file attached. Thanks
Note, this has modification from the standard NZ.MDB file that is distributed with the product
Hi Johannes,
any luck with this?
thank you
