Can I use the Truss Command (Structural Objects Group) to create a Arch Truss? If not, this could be a good enhancement.

  • Hi Fernando,

Thanks for posting your query over the Bentley Communities Forum.

In response to your query, I would like to inform you that, with the standard Truss commands available in ProSteel, you can model symmetric and un-symmetric trusses and joists; but the arch option is not currently available with this macro.

However, you can still model this manually and achieve the configuration as in the screenshot you have attached. But if this is critical to your business and workflow and if these kind of structures affect your modelling and work extensively, we would be glad to know more about it and add this feature in our product. For this, can you please convey your contact details and time of availability so that we can discuss this in brief.

    Regards,
