Can I place a stiffener at only one side of a W type colum?

Question

I want to place a stiffener on just one side of a W-type column at the point where it connects with 3 beams (see image). 
 How can I do this using the Stiffener Connection Tool?

You can just place the 2 stiffeners and delete one. The connection stays dynamic and even when you change the column size the deleted one will not reappear.
