Can't create/edit Detail styles.

For those with g-Force cards, nView only ships with Quadro cards.

To fix missing dialogues just activate the missing dialogue before loading a project. It is the project specific files dictating the current location of the dialogue. Once the dialogue can be seen on screen1, load your project, then close the dialogue which will save the new location for those dialogue boxes into the project.

This is the same for any floating dialogue.

If there is another way to get nView, I am eager to hear.

Yes, there is another way by which you can get rid off this issue. Please follow the steps below.

1. Right click on desktop and open the nView Desktop manager.



2. Now, Under the Windows manager, enable the option Prevent windows from opening off-screen.



3. Also, in same dialogue, set the Dialogue Repositioning  option as  Move to application display.



4. Another solution is, for PS CONNECT Edition, you can delete all the wnd files which are located at:

\Users\<User name>\AppData\Local\Bentley\ProStructures\10.0.0\prefs\Personal_WndCfg

This sets all the dialogues to their default position.
