Hi,
I am trying to exchange data between STAAD.Pro (and other components of the Structural Enterprise Suite) with ProSteel.
I have the Structural Synchronizer installed, and it is functional with all other software we have access to (i.e. STAAD.Pro, RAM Products, etc.).
However, once I try to either Export from ProSteel to and ISM Repository for STAAD.Pro or try to Import an ISM Repository from a STAAD.Pro file into ProSteel I get an error prompt stating:
"Initialization of ISM engine failed, please check your installation of Structural Synchronizer!".
I have tried Uninstalling and Re-Installing STAAD.Pro and the Structural Synchronizer with no success.
The ProStructures Wiki shows the error (https://communities.bentley.com/products/prostructures/w/structural_drafting_and_detailing__wiki/24878/error-ism-engine-failed) but simply states as a fix that the Structural Synchronizer needs to be installed, which it is and is functional with other Bentley products.
Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.
Hi Rhys, Thanks for posting your query over the Bentley Communities Forum. Can you please confirm the versions of STAAD.Pro , ProStructures and Structural Synchronizer that you are using on your machine. Regards, Alistair Lobo

Rhys Fulwood.
Currently its possible that Structural Synchronizer - CONNECT Edition V11 Update 1 - Version 11.04.01.04 is having an issue with ProStructures. Please try Version 11.00.03.04
