Differences between ProSteel on AutoCAD and MicroStation

The MicroStation version of ProSteel was released mid December 2008, but there are still a few differences between the AutoCAD and the MicroStation based version.

What else is different:.

- selecting objects first
- Drawings saved permanently
- DGN format (we can NOT open the DWG directly)
- no MDE

What is the same:

the interface. The dialogboxes, the workflow and the look-and-feel is the same:

What comes next:

We are working allready the "next" version of ProSteel on MicroStation. There it will be possilbe to have access to the programming interface (COM) of ProSteel, and then it will be possible to use all our COM based tools as well (Connection Center, Catwalk, Platform ...). Then both version have almost the same capabilities.
