ProStructures Object Enabler for Navisworks 2019

Hello,
I have recently updated to Navisworks 2019, AutoCAD 2019 and ProStructures CONNECT Edition for AutoCAD (10.0.0.8).
Is there an object enabler to properly view AutoCAD/ProStructures 3d models in Navisworks 2019? New and old ProStructures 3D models are showing as wireframe in Navisworks 2019. Navisworks says there is a missing object enabler for "Pro_Stahl_3d". I have searched and cannot find one. Does it exist?

Thanks

  • Hi Mike,

Thanks for posting your query here.
If I am not wrong, you are talking about ProStructures for AutoCAD Connect, Right?
If so, then there is no Plugin needed to view the PS Objects in NW. Only thing is that, AutoCAD need to be installed in your system. Like if you want to open the file in Navisworks 2019, then atleast AutoCAD 2019 need to be installed or there should be registry entry for the same as while opening in Navisworks it will search for similar AutoCAD version to display the graphics.
Hope I have answered you well. Do let me know if you have any doubt.

  • Hi Sandip,

I am looking at Prosteel on Microstation. We do export NWC from Autocad but I want to understand if this is possible in the Microstation CE version

While the OE is good, some clients ask for us to send them Navisworks, they aren't necessarily interested in installing object enablers etc

So, what is the workflow for creating Navisworks files from Prosteel for Microstation CE

    thanks
