This is the error we get when loading this model in navisworks. The file opens properly in autocad/prosteel and appears to have no issues. Also other models open fine in navisworks and it appears that the problem is isolated to this particular model.
We're using navisworks 2016 and Prosteel V8i select series 6 in autocad 2016. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
it looks like you are opening an DWG directly, one could also try NWC_out and create an NWC file. This works only up to AC 2016.

We automate a navisworks model daily for our project and load each area's models into navisworksd and publish an nwd automatically. Currently to get this area into the model I'm using the nwcout command. We'd like to be able to load the dwg directly into navisworks though as its easier for designers from all disciplines to view the model.
Also, I use the nwcout command to also get shape sizes to appear in navisworks. If the command doesn't work in newer versions of AutoCAD is there another way to get the shape sizes into navisworks when we upgrade to the newer version of Prosteel?
On the long run, in the Standalone version with full IFC output, including an automated update via cloud services, will be the most reliable way and give you the best BIM information's, including all properties you need. The next version of ProStructures will have this workflows implemented
