ProStructures CONNECT Edition - Version 10.14.03.07 Windows x64 , Using RealDWG 2019
Hello, I am trying to set up my detail styles for the connect version. It has been a long time since I had to set up detail styles, and I am having difficulty from the start as the settings I had for V8i do not appear to function as before. Here I have a simple channel member:
1st, the dimension text is not centered properly.
2nd, the lateral dimensions are starting from the bottom of the part. I want them to start from the top, where the ECS is located.
I am including my model. Is it possible for me to upload my detail style? It seems to be getting blocked when I try and upload it to this forum.

After loading the newest release of Prostructures, most of the issues in this post have been resolved. The only issue I can not seem to resolve is my dimension text is still offset to the left (see screenshot). I have to manually re-justify the dimension text after placing the detail. Is there something simple I am overlooking or should I submit a service ticket for this issue?
Hi Steve,
First of all, create a required dimension style with proper text justification in the Dimension Style dialog then in the detail style assign this newly created dimension style and update the preview, please refer the below image.
For more information on this, please follow the below wiki link which explaining about Text Style but the process is same for dimension style too.

Thanks for your reply. I checked both the text style & the dimension style I am using & they both seem to be set to center justification. Is there another setting somewhere I am overlooking?
This issue is observed when Diagonal Stacking Fraction is selected in Dimension Style > Text. But if we select the Horizontal stacking fraction then the dimension text is appearing correct.
We request you to please log a service request for this issue so that we can report this in our system on your behalf.

I am required to use diagonal fractions to match the rest of the project but it is good to know it is not something I am doing wrong. I have a macro I run that centers all the text for me so it is not a big deal. I will log a service request as you suggested & hope it can be resolved in future releases.
Thank you for your help!
Steve
