Can someone please tell me where in autocad/prosteel i need to be changing the variable so that tubes are shown with minimal lines. I have tried a number of autocad variables but they dont seem to be doing anything.
In this picture, the two magenta diagonal braces are tubes. I dont want to see all those lines of the tube

thankyou. That has fixed the problem. All members i have already modelled seem to need to be edited to include solid kernel to be ticked on each of those items. On new items its fine. But it hasnt fixed the problem of how it is being displayed when printed.
for example, i would want to see these braces and handrails as two lines and where the brace hits the bottom plate an eliptical shape. But it is printing the lines of the "tube" and the elipse at the plate is faceted
actually now its worse. I changed the localisation and have changed the settings. But now my tubes etc are showing as this
settings are
if i turn solid kernel off then it shows it but then all of a sudden all the facet lines reappear
but only in wireframe because the realistic still looks good
Hi Adam,
you can change the number of facets for circles. 8 is probably as low as you would go.
