Is it possible that "In named groups tabs" be deselected always "selectable" by default?
I find that this is an additional operation that sometimes needs to be done since position flags need to be sometimes reorganized also dimension lines because of clashes and similar
Group Selection Improvement
A new PS Toggle Enable Select Group as Whole allows you to select whole groups or individual elements within groups in the Named Groups dialog.
In Connect edition there is a toggle implemented
in V8i you have to go in the named groups dialog, there is no default switch.

Nope that isnt it. its still whole element (am trying this in Connect edition now)
i dont want those "check marks" it still needs to be clicked to get to position flags separately from model. (is there a setting that will have detailed position or object with these unselected and "broken down" automatically, i know it is there for security reasons but im not worried about that)
Sure (drawing is directly upgraded V8i , generated group is in the sheet outside of model) 10_2301_R SPAHIJSKI PODRUM PAKRAC - R.dgn
I actually could repeat it as per your instruction (learned something new) but still need to click "ON/OFF" on it .Can it be off all the time is my question?
You have to switch off groups one time always at the beginning after insertion, grouping has to be internally there, for example to move the whole group. It stays then off until you change.
does it stays off when using DCE? by clicking it off you mean then click "ON/OFF" (its usually off in my models so i'd have to click on/off once for example) before using detail center?
DCE always produces groups. You insert details in a drawing and use on / off. Grouping in the model does not affect detailing.

ok so its by design and cannot be changed to "always off". Thank you for the answer
