I'm using Prostructures Connect Edition 10.05.01.11
I'm trying to place bolts in plates that have slotted holes.
Is there a trick to how to place?
Many thanks for your request, if automatic bolting is not working one can bolt by using 2 points
but normally automatic bolting works here

Yes i got the automatic bolting to work now, thanks.
But now I'm having issue with the bolts not displaying 3rd washer that is needed.
It shows up in my bolting preview
However in my model it only shows the washers and not the tapered one.
Any ideas why?

Tapered washers are not visual shown, but they are calculated in the grip length. You will them have ticked on in the bolt properties.
ok thanks.
Is there a way to add third washer instead of tapered. I actually need a lock washer but was using the tapered.
Hi Nicole,
This can be done by editing the Bolts Database. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Bentley\ProStructures CONNECT Edition\ProStructures\Default\appl\MechanicalFasteners\Bolts and look for DinBolts.mdb. From here, you may select your preferred wedge washer objects and edit the U-THICK and I-THICK columns and make them equal.
Then, perform "prostructure reload references" in the Key-ins.
For information about Wedge Washer definitions, please check out this link.https://docs.bentley.com/LiveContent/web/ProStructures%20Help-v9/en/PS_WEDGE_WASHER_DEFINITION.html

thanks Kemuel.
I went in and modified table
Then used that key in "prostructure reload references"
I don't believe it reloaded the DinBolts.mdb as i didn't see it listed in my message center.
