ProStructures Deployment via SCCM

Hi All,

Does anyone have an experience with deploying ProStructures via SCCM?

We’re having issues deploying Bentley Prostructures V8i via SCCM 2012 R2 and getting it to install correctly when running with the system account in the SCCM deployment. Allowing the user administrator access and switching the SCCM deployment to run as the user will allow the application to finish the install correctly. This is a not
a viable workaround in our environment as we do not allow users administrative rights to install software.
Attached is the Error screen capture received.

  • Hi,

Firstly, make sure that you have followed the proper installation steps for Bentley Prostructures V8i and that the software is compatible with your operating system and hardware. Check the system requirements for the software, and ensure that your environment meets all the prerequisites.

Secondly, it's possible that the installation requires elevated privileges that the system account doesn't have. You could try deploying the software as a package that runs with elevated privileges. You can set this up by going to the program properties of the package, clicking on the "Advanced" tab, and selecting "Run with elevated privileges."

Thirdly, it's possible that the installation is failing due to insufficient disk space or other system resources. Check your system logs for any relevant errors or warnings and ensure that your system has enough free space and resources to complete the installation.

Lastly, you might consider reaching out to Bentley support for assistance with the deployment. They may have specific guidance or tools to help you with this process.
