Is it possible for Pro-Steel to separate each phase into lots? (i.e fabrication and erection priorities?)

 My question/query is somehow related to Tekla which I am not familiar with. Can anyone please provide advice on this " Is it possible for Pro-Steel to separate each phase into lots? (i.e our fabrication and erection priorities?) ". Thanks.

Hi Roel, 
 Thanks for posting your query in Bentley Community Forum. 
 You can assign that particular level or phase to Area Class and then by filtering that Area Class you can do further work. 
 Let me collect more information if this is not sufficient.

Yes, as far as I know, these classes will come over in IFC in the latest Connect Edition of ProStructure. 
 You can do also some mapping via the ini files for the objects like shapes and plates, located in in WorkSpace\ProStructures\Config\IFC folder.

Hi Cadaver and Roel, 
 This is known issue that while exporting to IFC all the Polycuts are coming as a large Volume Bodies and this is coming for the polycuts length in PS properties which is hard coded. 
 
 We have already there is a Defect and our development team is working on that. hopefully in future release this will be fixed.

 We have already filed Enhancement with these request. Hopefully in the coming version, these will be added. But currently we don't have the exact release date.

Development manager had a call with Strumis, we are working on that. In the Shape.att file one can edit it, so the Section size Name appears. Drive:\Program Files\Bentley\ProStructures CONNECT EditionUx\ProStructures\Default\appl\Exchange\IFC 
 CLASS_MEMBERS Name = KS_NAME Description = KS_DESCRIPTION ObjectType = KS_OBJECTTYPE 
 The Groups Pos is under groups which BIM Review does not use. We are working on that as same as the other topics.
