I have a number of questions regarding the Detail Center Express drawings output. I am using the standard CE detail, as below. I have tried making a new model and using a detail style from both the NZ and GB localisation
1) Object outlines are not visible but dimensions, text , hole center-lines are. Detail style is set to use configuration values for colours. I've changed the background colour to check that the lines aren't just hidden.
3) I cannot select individual items in the detail block. I think this is 'group select mode' or its equivalent in microstation, I cant find a method to turn it off.
4) detail block is coming out as a 2D lines, despite the 2D switch being turned off.

This should net be happen. All are correct in your detail style. Can you please send us the model so that we can investigate and can resolve this issue?

We tested your file and not able to reproduce the issue. We can see the Object Graphics. We need to do online session for that.
And regarding your second question "How to select individual lines or dimensions" - You need to deselect Group ids in named Views and then you can select each and every single lines.

After a restart I have now got some object graphics. not sure what the issue was.
However, two issues remain.
drawing output is as 2d details, rather than 3d, even though the 'As 2D lines' checkbox is not ticked. If I change to isometric and double click on the detail it 'inflates itself' to a 3d view? Is this correct? In the earlier Prosteel version the details were always 3d?
The other issue I have resolved. I had managed to same something into the drawing frame seed file!
The deatils are still in 3D, just it is not visible to you. This is intended and comes after CONNECT edition introduction. The 3D is actually for creating manual cut. Even though it is not visible, but its in background and can create manual cut.
