Thanks for posting your query over the Bentley Community Forum.

We regret to inform you that currently we cannot skip this dialog. 
You can either choose to associate a project or simple close it by clicking on 'Cancel'.

When will this "feature" be removed? It should never have been added, and once it was, should have been removed immediately. It is annoying and amateurish. It reminds me of when advertisers discovered the internet and thought that popups would be an effective way to shove their products down peoples throats. In this case, it is a feature being forced upon people who are already customers, though. Take our money, but please cut the crap.

I do understand your pain in this issue and will take up this with priority to the Product Management Team.
Hopefully, we will get some solution in the upcoming release / upgrades.

If you are not logged in with Connection Client, a dialog will appear only once, making you aware of the not loaded client. But it will not ask anymore to associate with a Project.

 (Its recommended to login at least one time a day, for CONNECT Edition its needed to login for Licensing.

Are you still planning to have an option to remove this annoying feature?

It only slows things down.
