Pin diameter in *.lst file

I'm using version ProStructures Connect Edition Update 1 Version 10.01.00.23.

Were trying to understand how the program is inserting Pin Dia. in our *.lst file.

I’ve attached our pdf copy of output. Can't attach *.lst file as there's error to attach.

Pin dia is set to PinDiaStart1.

Bar 1527 & 1529 were placed using guidelines ( 2 guidelines then 3) and then using the single rebar distribution.

So these bars would not have any end conditions.

Doesn’t the program then use what is setup in our Rebar Codes for pin dia info?

In the attached file you will see the program has place some Pin Dia. and some none,

yet the placement method was the same.

Should we be using a different method for placement so as to get the Pin Dia?

  • In our PS we are showing pin dia only with the end condition, if the bend bar profile is been created by guidelines then those bend will not have pin dia.

you placed bar 1527 by Single RebarSet tool, you have placed it by adding End Condition, also have customized it and provided 166 as Pin dia, those values are reflected in the Partlist (It is the expected result).

In the case of bar 1529, it is placed using Single Rebar Distribution without End Condition, you achieved the bend by guideline. As we are showing up the Pin dia only when the rebar placed with End Condition.

Bar 1034, would need to have the Bar diameter End in the part list as only pin dia start is listed in the moment as a field.

If required, to show pin dia for all the bends in the bar profile, it could be discussed but its complex to implement rightly.
