Hi
I've constructed a house in openbuildings designer (connect edition, update 5) and would like to add rebar to the concrete parts in pro structure, connect edition update 3.
Does pro concrete don't detect openings in slabs, walls or beams created in OBD?
I've created some new walls and slabs in ODB, not included in the delivered dataset. Seems there's a problem with adding rebars to those sometimes? Could it origin from me creating my own walls? Why else would pro concrete say that my slab is "element not valid for tool" while I try to add slab reinforcment to it?
Regrads,
Robert
Hello Robert Hogberg,
Can you please share your model so that we can have a look and can give you the solution?

Here are two. 15 is the OBD file and 22 is PS.
Figured out that walls connected with the L bisector from OBD are not possible to reinforce. Is that really how it should be?

Hi Robert,
We have investigated further and it is found that currently Rebarset cannot detect OBD Element and for that reason can able to follow the Polycut. However you can able to cut Rebars for those Polycut by using Key-in "Proconcrete polycut rebar"
Hope this will resolve this issue.
Ok, will that be fixed soon? There's a lot of double work this way. The idea of working with the same program suit is that these kinds of things should just work.
