Thanks for the reply, we do not have ProSteel.
We are evaluating the AECOsim package that has Structural Building Designer V8i.
The option you showed does not appear when placing cross bracing.

Hello Mr. Davenport,

There are various methods to place a gusset plate.

Either it can be done full automatic like in the dynamic bracing command, or half automatic with already set bracing rods like in the gusset plate command, or manual with a plate derived from a polygon with the exact placement and form you just need if the others don´t work.

Maybe a screenshot or a Modell would be good to have with the situation you are just in.
