Dear All,
I have created plate with Append flange, I want to cut or trim extra Append flange part (see attached snap).
I have tried every option to trim this Append flange plate but not able to cut this object. If any one know about that please guide me how to do.
I am working on Bentley pro structure v8i ss4 auto cad 2012.

Have you tried tools Trim to Object or ProSteel Subtract options?

Hi Shrinivas,
I think with your procedure we won't be able to use the Element modification Mitre cuts for plates.. However, I have a suggestion hopefully it will work for you.
1. First is create the rectangular plate.
2. Then draw two rectangular plates rotated on the angle that you want to append your plate.
(See Screenshot below)
3. Then append your plate by using the plate command.
(See screenshot below)
4. Then use the Element modification Mitre cuts for plates.
(See screen shot below)
(NOTE: The bottom part won't show radius, do you need it to have a radius?)
