Overview
Power ProStructures is a new, standalone power product available for ProStructures which does not require a separate MicroStation or AutoCAD License.
Power ProStructures has 3 license types and these are
1. ProStructures2. ProSteel and 3. ProConcrete.
This document will explain these three License types and benefit of each licenses.
By default when ProStructures application is launched, the License Selection box appears. However user can select their owned license and can check the box so that this dialog box should not appear next time. The Select License tool can be accessed via ProStructures Tasks menu or can be accessed via main menu, ProStructures > Setup > License
Note: Power ProStructures uses different licenses than Layered ProStructures versions running on AutoCAD or MicroStation platform.
As it is already explained there are three license types, here below please find the explanation about the difference and benefit of these licenses.
(A) ProStructures :
Selecting ProStructures License, one will get both ProSteel and ProConcrete and can use both the application ( ProSteel and ProConcrete). This license is good for those users who needs to work on both Steel and Reinforced Concrete.
(A) ProSteel :
Selecting ProSteel License, one will only use ProSteel and get access to use all ProSteel tools and features, but will not be allowed to use ProConcrete tools and features. This is useful for those users who only works with Steel Structures.
(A) ProConcrete :
Selecting ProConcrete License, one can only use ProConcrete and get access to use all ProConcrete tools and features, but will not be allowed to use ProSteel tools and features. This is beneficial for those who just need to work with Concrete and reinforcement work.
It is strongly recommended to select the correct license which you owned, otherwise you will get Over usages charges.
