The ProSteel application offers three different kinds of step treads that are used in the Stair-Module. Here we show the differences and why it's most valuable to use "Block Steps".
These steps are created by parameters 1-8 from the dialogue box:
These treads are helpful if you want to use Standard Flat Shapes:
For this option you use prepared files from the localised path/ Userblocks:
In order to compare the differences we have look at the Isometric View and the results from the Partlist:
As you can see the "Standard"-treads are not displaed with "hidden lines" in the isometric view. Moreover only treads from shapes and blocks are listed with extended information (surface/ weight) in the ProSteel-Partlist.
Please find attached a collection of prepared Block Steps according to (german) industry standard that were used for this example.
