    Delete/Dissolve Existing Groups

    Background

    Grouping elements together within Prostructures is an important procedure. This will come handy when you are generating your 2D Structural drawings needed for fabrication.

     

    Scenario:

    Sometimes and when modelling within ProStructures you would need to Delete the entire "Group" or just dissolve an existing "Group". 

    Steps to Accomplish

    Dissolve an Existing Group

       1. To Dissolve an existing Group. Open the Administrate group command, then go to the Group TAB.

    • Icon:
    • Command Line:  PS_GROUP

    2. Select the Dissolve Group ICON

        Prompt: Select  part of the group: (Select any part of the group)

        A Dialog will appear "Do you really want to dissolve the group?"

        Click the Tick button to confirm of the cross mark to cancel.

         The Group will then be Dissolved but not deleted if you click the tick mark.

            

    Delete an Existing Group

       1. To Dissolve an existing Group. Open the Administrate group command, then go to the Group TAB.

    • Icon:
    • Command Line:  PS_GROUP

    2. Select the Delete Group ICON

        Prompt: Select  part of the group: (Select any part of the group)

        A Dialog will appear "Do you really want to dissolve the group?"

        Click the Tick button to confirm of the cross mark to cancel

         The Group will then be Deleted if you click the tick mark.
