Background

In this sample the material "undefined" shall be replaced by "-".

Steps to Accomplish

1. Open the partlist lst file (Menu Settings/Edit partlist definition)
   Double click the material field to open the table contents
   
   
2. To edit the field material double click the data line
   
   
   
   
3. Now we can use the tab for Condition. Delete the formula in the lower window and
   start with the condition
   
   
   
   
4. The condition is:
   Contains(MATERIAL,"Undefi"
   
   Under the field of the formula the result will be shown.
   Here we can see, if the formula has the correct syntax and if it's working
   
   
   
   
5. We need still the true and false result as shown in the screenshot
   Then the formula can be inserted
   
   
   
   
   
6. Opening a preview the result should be "-" instead of "undefined"
