    Overview

The  ProSteel Compare Parts command is a very useful tool. This tool used to compare two component part groups in current model with each other and gives you a summary of the differences between them.

    Method

    1. Open the Compare Parts tool located at Steel workflow > Utilities > Utilities > Compare Parts.

    2. Now, identify first part or part of first group and then identify second part or part of second group.

    3. The Element Comparison dialog opens, displaying which element properties are identical (identified by a check mark) and which are not (identified by a red X).

Note: When all the parameters are the same then you would expect ProSteel to give it the same position number.
