    Overview

While drilling or cutting in a plate placed in vertical position or in Z direction, usually we do it by managing ACS. We set ACS so that Z direction of ACS lies parallel to cutting direction or drilling direction.
However this can also be achieved by using Object ACS.

    Method

Please follow the below steps to achieve this

    1. Go to Steel > View > ACS View and Select Object ACS Centered

    2. Click on any point on the plate and six directional selector will appear and then select one of them so that Z direction of ACS set to perpendicular of plate.

    3. Then Drill the plate as per your dimension and drill will be done.

    4. Also if you want to do poly cut, can do via this way.
