Graphics of NC file get broken in NC Viewer

    Product(s): ProSteel for AutoCAD
    Version(s): 08.11.11.161
    Environment: N/A
    Area: Import /Export
    Subarea: NC/ DSTV
Original Author Sandip Kar, Product Advantage Group

    Problem Description

While viewing NC file in NC viewer it comes up with broken graphics. See below one example

    Steps to resolve

When there is modification in element, like Cut or Cope, then sometime the Steel graphics get broken, when opened in NC Viewer. This generally happen if the Solid kernel and Modeler is ticked off.
Solid karnel always give better result. So it is recommended to tick on model and Solid karnel for best graphics.

    1. Go to PS Properties of that member and tick on Solid karnel.

    2. Also in NC Dialog in Settings tab switch on Shapes with Solid karnel and Plates with Solid karnel.

    3. After enabling these options, when you create NC file, you will get the right Output. See one output below.

It sometimes happen that enabling Solid karnel turns AutoCAD crash. In that case copy AecModeler.dbx and AsdkHlrApi20.dbx from

    C:\Program Files\Bentley\ProStructures Ss6 R1\AutoCAD 2015\Prg    to
    C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20XX
