    Overview

Many times user may want to make changes in the existing workframe by adding or removing the grid-lines. With the help of workframe tool, we can add grid-lines to an existing workframe and at the same time we can remove grid-lines from existing workframe. In this wiki, we are going to learn how to add grid-lines to an existing workframe.

    Method:

    1. Make sure that you have workframe of required size placed in the model. To add a single or multiple grid-line, draw a line at the place where you want to add a grid-line. For addition multiple grid-lines, draw  multiple        lines at the location where you want to place them.

    2. First, we will add gridlines in the X direction. So, draw the line in the X direction where you want to add gridlines.

    3. Then, double click on the workframe which will open workframe settings dialogue.  Under the Border lines tab, below the X axes section you will see 3 types of options. ( Refer the image below.)

    A) To add a single user defined axes use the option A.

    B) To add multiple user defined axes in the workframe use option B.

    4. As we have drawn two lines, we will select the option for adding multiple user defined axes i.e. option be from the dialogue box ( as shown above in snapshot). Click on this option and then hold ctrl button then, select the two lines and press accept button.

    5. You will see the gridlines added in the defined direction with the count of user defined axes in the workframe dialogue box.

    6. To remove the axes, use the option of  ‘ Remove user defined axes’ . Click on this option and select the axes which you want to remove and will get deleted.

    7. To add the user defined axes in the Y direction, follow the same procedure, just use the options from Y axes’ section as shown below.

In this way we can add or remove user defined axes to the existing workframe.
