How to get double delimiters for lapped bars in Vary set?

Problem Description

When there are varying bars with lapping after certain stock length, there will be basically two sets of Rebar created. One set of constant length of Stock length and another set with varying bars. In that case how one can get two separate delimiters for that?



Steps to resolve

When there are varying bars and also having lapped bars, it is typical to have two different delimiters to show varying bars and the constant length bars. To activate this one can set the variable in display.sys. Please follow below steps to get this done.

1. This is controlled by variable set in "display.sys" file located under Workspaces. This is located in "C:\ProgramData\Bentley\ProStructures CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\<your workspace>\Standards\ProStructures\Rebar\Detailing\<Metric/Imperial>



2. Open the file in Notepad and search for the variable "DOLG". 

3. Change the value from 0 to 1 which will activate double Delimiter when there are two sets of rebars.

And that will give you the result like below
