Problem Description

When we try to cut a circular hole in a plate using the Modify Tool, Common Tab, Polycut - there is an error reading:
'The polycut was deleted due to invalid Shape! Due to this error, the Inner Contour cannot be created'

Steps to resolve

This error occurs due to improper setting of ACS in the model. If we properly set the ACS, then there will not be any error appears and we can cut the plate as per our requirement.

Please follow the below steps to resolve this issue

1. In the below image, we can see the ACS is not set properly in the model. If we try to cut the plate by Polycut option from the Element Modification tool, it gives the error.

2. Navigate and left-click on the Object ACS Centered, located at Steel > View > ACS View > Object ACS Centered. 

3. Set the ACS in the Top View as shown in the below image.

4. Now, use the Modify tool to cut the part by using polyline/circle. This time you will not get any error and the plate will cut, as shown in the below image.

In this way, we can resolve this issue.
