Recovering the model which turns into white colour.

      Product(s): ProSteel
      Version(s): CONNECT Edition (10.XX.00.XX)
      Environment: N/A
      Area: Issues
      Subarea: Key-in
Original Author: Vyanktesh Nama, Bentley Product Advantage Group

    Problem Description

I have just spent 5 weeks drawing a Model. I have opened it and now it is all white. The Properties of the part are colour by level and should not be white. (In the below image, we have shown one part that turns into white.)

    Steps to resolve

Please follow the below steps to resolve this.

    1. Open Key-in dialog from Home > Common Tools > Key-in.

    2. Type “ProStructure Rebuild” and hit enter key. Now, the Message Center will open, here you can see number 60 is for recovering the model.

    3. So, type 60 in the Key-in and hit enter key to perform this operation. This will take few minutes to complete.

    4. Now, the result is as shown in the below image. The colours are recovered back to the original.

In this way, one can recover the model by using the ProStructure Rebuild > 60 key-in. If this key-in doesn’t work, then we request you to raise a service request.
