    In positioning, how to change the start number for group position numbers

    Problem

    In this wiki, we learn how one can change the start numbers of groups from where the count for group positioning will be started.

    Please refer to the steps below.

    Solution

    1. Under the Steel workflow, navigate to the Data/Reporting>Numbering>Positioning.


    2. In the positioning dialog, go to the steel positioning tab and open the options for it. (Refer to the image below)

    3. In the positioning rules, click on the options tab and on right hand side, put the value in the field ‘Start at last’ where you want to begin the numbering of group position numbers.

    4. Now you can position your model, and this will start numbering the groups from the number you have provided in the field.

    In this way, users can start numbering their groups from the desired number.
