Problem

In the ProStructures CONNECT for AutoCAD, while working with the partlist tool, sometimes, users may face the issue of crashing showing the error ‘Reading XML Data’.

In this wiki, we will learn how to resolve this issue.

Solution

To resolve this issue with the partlist, users must delete a file Kspartlist.xml from the directory. Please follow the steps below for a better understanding.

1. In the windows explorer, navigate to the path below: C:\Program Files\Bentley\ProStructures CONNECT for AutoCAD\AutoCAD 2019\Prg

2. Here, you will find one file named Kspartlist.xml and delete this file from the prg folder.

3. Now, launch the application and create the partlist database and this will run the tool without any crash or error and your issue will be resolved permanently.
