Overview

In this wiki, we will learn how to create/enable the top or bottom haunch for the end plate connection between beam and column. Refer to the stepwise procedure given below.

Method

1. First to create the end plate connection, under the steel workflow, navigate to the Home>Steel Connections.



2. In the steel connections, select the End Plate Connection tool then select the beam and column.

3. This will open the End Plate connection dialog and here go to the Bt Chord tab and enable to Top/Bottom haunch which you will immediately see getting displayed in the model.



4. Here, with the help of illustration, you can maintain the settings of the top/bottom chord.

In this way, you can create the End Plate connection with the Top/Bottom chord in ProSteel CONNECT Edition.
