When a an element is selected for creation of partlist, then it is possible that the total count of similar elements will not appear in the partlist and will show count as 1 in the 'Count' column.In this wiki, we will learn how to see the total count of the elements in the drawing partlist.
The total count of element will be visible only when the column of 'total number' is added in the partlist. The 'Count' column will only show the number of selected elements for the creation of that particular partlist.Please refer to the steps below to resolve this concern.1. Double click on the existing inserted partlist.2. This will open the Drawing partlist dialog.3. In this dialog, beside the partlist style, click on the Magnifier button to edit the style.4. In the partlist style editor, click on the append button shown in the image below which will show the column settings.5. Here, from the list of columns, you need to add the column 'TOTALNUM' which will display the total count of similar parts in the partlist.6. Simply double click on the 'TOTALNUM' column and click on 'ok' button.7.This will display the total count of elements in the partlist.
