When placing RebarSets to concrete walls or slabs, there are instances that the required placement is not orthogonal to the geometry or skewed depending on the design requirements. ProStructures allows users to manually select the direction or the starting bar of any rebar set range in a very simple manner.
1. Place a smart line parallel to the preferred direction or to any extracted parametric solid edge to be used as a reference.
2. Go to the rebar set (slab/wall) structural properties and click on the Select Direction for RebarSets option.
3. The program will then prompt the user the select a line using Data button or select two points using Reset button to define the main direction of the rebar sets.
Following the steps, you may now easily orient Rebar Sets of a concrete slab or wall based on your design preferences in an easy manner.
