Problem Description

The model is displayed off the screen when selecting Fit View/Zoom Extents. The primary reason for this behavior is that there's an unwanted element far away from the origin of the drawing.

Solution

1. First, turn on all Levels. This is to ensure that all elements are visible.

2. In the Selection Menu, hit Select All option. This will highlight all visible elements in the model space.

3. In the same Menu, apply Subtract option to the required elements. (subtract elements in the middle of the screen where you existing model is) This will make the selection solely for the unwanted elements.

4. Lastly, hit the Delete button on your keyboard. 

Following the procedure, it will eliminate all unnecessary and unwanted elements in the model space. This way you may now expect to apply Fit View/Zoom Extents at your intended model.
