Overview
This wiki explains how to publish iModel in ProStructures CONNECT Edition. There are two types of iModels we can create:
- An intermediate file (.DGN.I.DGN), which is a new file created from a single CAD file.
- A package file (.I.DGN), which is multiple intermediate files (for example a master file and all its references) combined into a single file
Steps to be follow
Please follow the below steps to achieve this.
1. Go to backstage, File > Publish iModel.
2. The Publish iModel(s) dialog opens. Enable the Create a single package option to create a packaged iModel (*.i.dgn) file.
(Optional) Turn on Include Linked Design Files.
(Optional) Turn on Republish all iModels.
3. Now, click on the Publish button.
An iModel with an .i.dgn extension is created. For example, if the file name is Test.dgn, the published iModel file name will be Test.dgn.i.dgn.
The file’s location appears in the Message Center.
