Overview

Sometimes when importing IFC files, we are getting the alert message "Contains invalid or deprecated IFC data" and unable to import. This is due to ProStructures CE security reasons as the IFC file contains schemas that are old and already deprecated.

Solution

The IFC files can still be opened using configuration variable IFC_ALLOW_DEPRECATED_SCHEMA=1. Once applied, perform the usual import process.
