Dear Valued ProStructures for AutoCAD, ProSteel for AutoCAD, and ProConcrete for AutoCAD users, 

We hope this message finds you well. Over the years, Bentley Systems has received user feedback asking for more transparency around our billing and commercial models, as well as insight into our product roadmaps and future state. As such, our world-class product teams and Commercial Programs colleagues have been working diligently to simplify our product portfolio by streamlining our offerings. With this in mind, we would like to inform you of some upcoming changes in our product offering and licensing structure. 

Effective April 1st, 2024, there will be an increase in the pricing of ProStructures for AutoCAD, ProSteel for AutoCAD, and ProConcrete for AutoCAD. Note that this price increase only impacts the AutoCAD-based offerings for ProStructures, ProSteel, and ProConcrete and not the PowerProduct versions.

We also want to inform you that we’ve made the difficult decision to retire ProStructures for AutoCAD, ProSteel for AutoCAD, and ProConcrete for AutoCAD by 2026. This decision comes after careful consideration and is aimed at better meeting the evolving needs of our users. A more detailed announcement regarding this retirement plan, including the timeline, will follow later this year.  

Looking ahead, our team is excited to offer you a promotional entitlement to our ProStructures PowerProduct. This presents an excellent opportunity for you to explore and benefit from the advanced features of the ProStructures/ProSteel/ProConcrete PowerProduct, including all MicroStation capabilities, without the need to have an extra MicroStation license. We encourage you to take advantage of this promotional offering and experience the value it brings to your workflows as this will be the replacement solution once the AutoCAD versions of these Pro products are retired.  

Please note that in the upcoming months, we plan to release the AutoCAD versions of ProStructures, ProSteel, and ProConcrete to run seamlessly with the latest AutoCAD versions (2021-2024). This is to allow you more time to migrate to the PowerProduct versions of ProStructures, ProSteel, or ProConcrete, all of which include MicroStation capabilities. 

Finally, we have put in place a comprehensive coaching blueprint to help you migrate to the new PowerProduct solutions. We strongly recommend that existing ProStructures for AutoCAD, ProSteel for AutoCAD, and ProConcrete for AutoCAD users reach out to their account managers and success managers to leverage this blueprint. Our dedicated team is ready to provide guidance and support to ensure a successful migration to PowerProduct solutions.
