Overview

In this wiki, we are going to see how we can place the bolting connection in the flange of purlin.

Method

Please follow the steps below to achieve this.

1. Left click on Steel Purlin connection located at Steel > Home > Steel Connections > Steel Purlin.

Alternatively, we can also access the same connection from Connection Center > Purlin Connections > Purlin.

2. Select the purlin beam.

3. Now, select the supporting beam or the object to connect with purlin.

4. Select the Bolting tab and here adjust the settings as per your requirement.

In this way, we can place the bolting connection in the flange of purlin.
