I have a problem with saving geometry file after a certain action I did.
Let's start from beginning:
I have a geometry file which contains a several horizontal/vertical alignment a turnout and COGO points. When I delete multiple COGO points with a "Delete COGO point" tool I can't save geometry file becuase an error messaga pops up "Error writing to file" and whne exiting PRT says that it is failed to open some file in program directory on C drive. I have checked, file is there, and I didn't changed it or moved it. And this is not happening when I make some other change in geometry file.

Did someone had similar problem or knows how to solve this?
It would be a great help if someone could try to do this with my geometry file to see if there is a problem with .alg or something else is on the way.

You can fix the Error writing to file error message simply by running the installation process as an administrator. To do that, right-click the setup file and choose Run as administrator from the menu. This isn't a permanent solution, but it should allow you to install the desired application without any errors.

I've been having this problem as well. Maybe this was solved in later versions, but in SS2, I've encountered the same problem and it causes Power InRoads to crash on closing...
