I have a few queries about the horizontal regression tool in OpenRail Designer (10.03.00.41) -
Let me try to answer them;

Thanks for the detailed responses Kivanc, it is appreciated.
The regression point weighting is an important tool. It means if we need to tie-in horizontally by a certain point we can force the alignment to achieve minimal slues at a fixed point. Myself and colleagues use it a lot in our day to day design work, so I think it should be included.
Kivanc, I have some questions on your response to Paul Bennett above.
I have a couple of hundred points, but only 9 are shown. Why? If I rename a point in Properties then is gets excludes from the regression points displayed in plan. Is there a way to rename regression points easily?
I agree with Paul this is important.
This is just horrible. Has there been a change in ORD (10.09.00.91) ?
Would be useful.
Any update?
I agree with Paul's suggestion. After regressing an Arc I cancel the regression and place the arc manually using geometry tools. Not the smartest way. I don't understand your workflow - once I create the final geometry can one remove a rule on one specific arc only. Then change arc radius. Will that work?
This is now working, however, I don't like the style it isn't very readable. Can I change the orientation to be parallel to alignment? Can the slew units be change to mm? Surely, 40 is easier to interpret (visually) than 0.040m. I've trawled through the styles be cannot find this - any guidance?
Can the regression point style be change to say a cell?
