When I create a dynamic cross-section in ORD there are no components displayed. I can turn on the cut and fill graphics and null points, these display correctly but cannot seem to get the components to display. Is there a fix for this?
Is everything good in the 3D model ? Do you see all components ?
No, I have tried to use the dynamic cross-section tool in multiple files now and it has not worked in either of them.
dynamic cross section is a section of the 3D model. That is why you must check that the 3D model is OK and that you can see all components in the 3D model (or any other 3D element).
Yes, 3D model is OK. Sometimes when I create the dynamic section the initial cross-section works but as soon as I move the section location all the components disappear.
I didn't face such issue. Did you check Feature Definition assigned to each component ? You can also check that view is using wireframe in view attributes. Did you try to create dynamic section with both methods: corridor and alignment ?
