1. In Projectwise: loaded legacy XIN file into DGN file that has geometry created by using legacy methods (sorry, everyone hates that new DGN-based method). When trying to load any preferences or style into View geometry routines (View Horizontal Geometry or View Stationing), the pull down tabs where normally styles/ preferences can be selected, are empty. I know the XIN file is NOT empty.
2. I exported DGN, ALG and XIN out of Projectwise and re-opened, the same results are described above.
3. The new Project Explorer is showing all styles on XIN file, perfectly synced with Feature Definition.
What is the problem? Why XIN data is not showing where it supposed to? Any suggestions?
Just came across another problem: when trying to copy XIN file, the response to any selected XIN file says 'this is not valid XIN file' even to those that come with Bentley products. Any ideas?

Microsoft discontinued "msxml 4.0", does anyone know of a solution/workaround to get the XIN file to work without this install?
